About the Author About the Author Born in Los Angeles, Sondra R. Galbraith moved to Utah as a teen, later to Idaho, then back to Utah where she attended college. She currently resides in Utah with her awesome husband. They have five children, fifteen grandchildren, eight great greats and counting. Sondra enjoys friends, Old Movies, interior decorating, watching a sunset and reading, for starters. Her greatest treasure, however, is her family and a life filled with blessings.

Sondra reveals the full story of what it meant to her and her family when her fifth child was born with a severe disability. Then to add to the stress, Sondra contacted a disability of her own that robbed her of her energy and kept her in bed for years. Dick, her loving husband, never waivered in his support. Backed by her strong faith, Sondra felt both experiences taught her much. She shares what she has learned in the voice lessons that came her way.

A beautiful memoir By Reader The wisdom the author shares from her journey with a child with a disability and her own illness was clear, tender, and full of hope. I will revisit this book many times in the years ahead as a reference for handling adversity, seeking healing, and as an anthem to the power of family relationships and faith in God.
