4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. 100 years of South Florida history By John F. Durkee Well written and engaging, appears well researched. Not a 'boring' history book, instead history told with a story line. Describes life in Southeast Florida and the Keys from mid 1800s thru 1930s.
1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. The book is easily dismissible without these By Brynn Bolinsky The book is very interesting and well written but there is no bibliography or sources page of any kind. The author states that this is not a scholarly work portraying new ideas but a PhD historian should have included a bibliography and citations. The book is easily dismissible without these.
