A helpful guide which suits all personality types By Bumbhola I would recommend this book to my brother and his wife. they have a really energetic kid, who gets difficult to handle at times. Since both of them are working, the many ways to enjoy with kids, shown in this book, will be helpful to them. The book also helps greatly with reasons for children's stubbornness and peculiar behavior. It will tell you, what's exactly in their minds and how you can distinguish your thinking from theirs, which would help you guide them.I would say this book is like - not giving you fish to eat, instead teaching you how to fish. In other words it makes you self sufficient in handling kids by answering the core questions (why are they behaving this way? what is their problem? etc.), apart from giving you all those 50 things that you could do with them, including my favorite one - planting a seed and teaching them to grow a plant day by day (helps build patience and makes them ask many questions about nature).

Then she explains the transition from me centered to cooperative play. She points out the importance of a parent's guidance and role in adding fun to the maturation process. She divides the fun activities into sections for indoors, outdoors, creative and experimental, and family-fun get-togethers.In my opinion, the last two sections are the most valuable. While some of them will be familiar to lots of parents, Flashcards Night and writing names with dominoes are creative ideas. This is a nice book to have as a resource, when you need a quick idea to entertain and educate your children or those in your care. These activities are most appropriate for elementary age students and with a few adaptations can be adjusted to work with older or younger children.
