Be good to your family and cook stuff from this book. If you love them, you'll buy it and throw all your other books away. If you don't, your family will hate you and you will die alone. Kidding. Chef Jeff is a gentleman and a hell of a chef. Thanks for putting your knowledge in black and white for us lay people.

Can't wait to wade into the recipes; solid with those little touches that you need if you aren't Jewish or Italian but LOVE the genre. Might learn to make a good Italian gravy and Jewish chicken soup yet!

"Chef Jeff" makes cooking easy--especially for those of us who approach "old world" recipes with trepidation out of fear of getting it right.
