"One of the features I like the most is the chassis and engine serial numbers enabling you to verify a car's production year, original color, options, etc. It makes a non-Porsche historian like myself confident I can go out and determine on my own, with relative certainty, what I'm looking at. By PilotJimL If you are in to buying any previously owned 911, or a concours judge, or wanna-be, this is required reading. It will be in your glovebox (except 1999-2001 996s, that's in the book). Besides all the numbers, a good description of each series changes starts each section. A much better buy than two magazines from the book store, excuse me... Amazon.

Anything you want to know about what a model has is in here. I looked up two 911s I've owned and they nailed it. Very informative read and a super reference for anyone interested in comparing models and trying to choose what to get!
