"Was this marriage and lovely home we lived in worth me living a miserable life?" I then realized that a "screen saver" created a blurry vision in many instances. There were signs of mistrust between my ex and his friends and business partners. I ignored all the signs. Let's take a moment to think about the meaning of the words we recite in our wedding vows. What a commitment we make in that moment before God and witnesses! The vows become empty words of tradition when you marry a con man like I did.

Honest, revealing, and liberating By Molley An honest autopsy of the unfortunate death of a relationship..."I was continually looking for someone to be like my daddy..." Very insightful reflection that our sensibilities are sharpened and heightened only when we've dealt head on with past hurts from previous relationships, orthe wound of losing a parent to death or sheer neglect or abandonment. Without that our scabs are a magnet...the author has opened up space for wonderful possibilities for herself and others by acknowledging and addressing her vulnerabilities.
