By Lu This is a wonderfully written book that gives true insight into the life histories of incarcerated men. It is not an easy read, particularly, if (like me) your paths have not crossed this part of our society. It provides help in understanding how they became felons, and the measures some will take to remake their lives. You will be amazed at how articulate their narratives are, and how masterfully David Coogan was able to describe the men and combine their stories.
