I consider myself a decent cook and I enjoy the entire process, but I am NOT someone who always has all of the ingredients just sitting in the fridge OR someone who wants to run to the store to go get what I need at a moment's notice. I decide I'm hungry or that it is time to cook something and want to get right to it! For that reason, I loved the fact that the book started off telling me that substitutions are ok and that creativity is suggested! That is my kind of recipe book!As for the recipes themselves, so far they are delicious! Many of them were completely new to me and even those that weren't had new twists or little changes that made them even better. I especially loved the "Pizza For Breakfast", "Bake An Apple For Breakfast" & "Filled French Toast"! Ridiculously good! I can't wait to work my way through all of them!Highly recommended whether you are an experienced cook/chef or a novice like me!
