Excellent Short Bio to Gain Basic Info on Sanders By Glenda I wanted to read this book for one reason--I had seen this candidate's ads on television and was intrigued with what he was saying. And compared to the other candidates, I didn't know much about Bernie Sanders...Also, this author had done a number of books of this style, so it seemed a good choice for my purposes... a short bio... which could allow further research if desired.The book begins with a basic overview of Mr. Sanders background. I was not surprised to learn of the tension of prejudice in the family's background. The main information that was shown in this candidates ads was expanded upon in this book. It seemed to me that what he was saying at this time was based upon his background and past actions. That is, he's opposed to power-hungry corporations who use money to influence politics...And that his campaign dollars came from citizens as opposed to such corporations.This man's moral fiber went to work early... and his actions those that were important to moving the country forward...Moving to Burlington, Vermont seemed to set the stage for more... And the fact that he shared with vision with the people was a characteristic to be admired, in my opinion.I was quite satisfied with this short book. With only 30 pages, the material was comprehensive enough for me to learn about a man...a man whose life has led to where he is today, in my opinion. The author provided exactly what I expected for the type of book he had written. Highly recommended.GABixlerReviews

Sometimes, media puts "colors" on what the people are saying that is why we tend to have a different opinion about them, depending on what the media suggests on our mind. This book, however, shows unbiased autobiography of Bernie Sanders. I would say it is fair because you can also see other books about other candidates. Also, these are based on facts even if you check history. I found that Bernie Sanders had an actual experience on what a regular American goes through on a daily basis. The decision is yours to make, though, but that is just my opinion. It is really helpful that a book such as this was published because people nowadays only reads books about sex-crazed teenagers who falls in love with a billionaire or vampires and supernatural beings. Although it is good, it stimulates the mind and helps being creative; however, it is unbalanced because people should also read books like this one, so to be aware about now. If you read fiction, it is best to also read books like this . Not only do we have a grasp of what is happening right now, it helps us decide. One person's decision can affect the future of everyone. Thank you so much for having this book!

Well written and no fluff - just the way I like 'em. I read this because I have been interested in the U.S. election campaign and thought he looked like a well-spoken, intelligent and interesting candidate. Now, who knows what will happen and who will be the victor at the end of this crazy race to the finish line!After reading this ebook I feel he (Sanders) probably would've been the most ethical candidate in this race and it was interesting to read more about his background rather than just the usual sensationalist reporting in the media.Also commend Mr Powell on his consistency across this series - will have to check out some of the other more interesting candidate biographies as they look similarly inviting and easy to read. Good stuff - a solid 4.5 stars. Says what it is, reads like what it says it is and delivers what it suggests it will.
