This is a really great book on losing weight naturally and effectively. Period. And the methods are based on a perfectly sound and well-researched understanding of how our bodies function. The great news is that you don't have to be planning to lose weight just for your wedding day, even though that's a perfect time to take advantage of these totally effective techniques. By taking care of what you eat and avoiding the toxic foods that encourage weight gain, Melinda Rolf has shared the secrets of taming excess body weight forever. This is very important because too many diets and eating regimes these days fail to keep the excess pounds off permanently or else they produce imbalances in our bodies that are harmful to our health. This book stands out from the crowd because the advice is intended to promote total health even as the extra weight falls away. The bonus is that it is also a very well written guide to the art of intelligent nutrition so your beautiful wedding day silhouette can stay with you forever. Highly recommended!

Great, practical advice By western lover What I like about this book is that it encourages a sensible approach to losing weight, rather than a quick fix solution and is great for anyone with an important event as their goal, whether it be a wedding, honeymoon or vacation. Reading about the detoxification process was very helpful, particularly the environmental toxins which people don’t necessarily consider as cause for concern in toxic build up and inflammation. There are a list of obvious food culprits included such as fats and sugar but explained in detail so that you know what to look out for under certain clever labelling. I also liked the section on the different body cleanses. If you want a common sense book that will help you in your aim to not only lose weight but to get healthier while doing so, and to make better lifestyle choices overall, then I would highly recommend this book.

I have tried "all kinds of diet" - low carb, low fat, food combining, intermitten fasting, you name it! This diet seems restrictive but after 3 days on the diet it's like you are on diet pills. Your appetite disappears. It's a diet designed to get the weight off of you! And there are strict instructions on how to return to normal balanced eating and weight maintenance! Not like low carb where you must remain low carb forever to stay thin. This is really awesome and everyone fit to do this must try.
